New Academic Year starts!

Porter Hall is buzzing with activities and classes. This is a very welcome change from the quiet, sleepy summer. We welcome back some familiar faces and are excited to meet the new folks!

One new face in the Department of Art is Emi Gennis. Emi just made the amazing journey from Portland, Oregon to Pittsburg. She will be teaching Illustration in the Department!

Emi has a BA from the University of Chicago, an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work has appeared in both print and online publications, including several anthologies. She is the editor of Unknown Origins & Untimely Ends, an anthology of nonfiction mystery comics published by Hic & Hoc Publications.
