High School Art Day is Fun for All!

Students take a sneak peek at the Self Portrait Competitive Work
Each year the Department of Art faculty and students plan and work toward High School Art Day. It is always hosted on the Thursday before Thanksgiving Holidays. In 2012, the event had 17 high schools and over 300 students. This year, PSU welcomed over 28 High Schools and over 430 High School students.

IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!  WE HAD A BLAST!!!

"Every year we are blown away by the talented and creative student work. The purpose of today is to get kids thinking creatively. While not all 428 students are going to be artists, they are definitely going to be needing to use creative thinking skills in any career that they go into," said Rhona Shand, PSU Department of Art.
