Ahecha Paraguay - Lecture and Exhibition
Ahecha Paraguay is the exhibit in the Harry Krug Gallery from October 3rd to October 31st.
Ahecha Paraguay is project completed by the United States Peace Corps, where they gave cameras and taught photography to rural Paraguayan children. The children used the photos to capture scenes from their communities. Roughly over 300 youth participated in the project, the best photos are exhibited at five venues in Paraguay's capital, Asuncion.
In celebration of 200 years of Paraguayan independence, Graham Kreiker's Kansas Paraguay Partners collaborates with Peace Corps volunteers to bring you the photographs we have now in the Harry Krug Gallery.
Graham Kreicker will have a lecture in Porter Hall on Thursday October 6th, at 4:pm.
