Life in the Circus

While not actually preparing for a life under the big top, art students were dressed for the part last Wednesday. Students were shooting reference images for a Commercial Art I project.

"Knowing how to shoot and use reference images is an important part of being an illustrator. Students not only need to know what a character in their images look like, but how they walk, sound like and think. It makes their images more believable. In short, by shooting good reference images students make better work and become better artists." says Rhona Shand, Commercial Art I professor.
